Merging the absurd with reality, Maya explores the unique challenges and joys of growing up with ADHD.

In a world full of distractions how do we focus on what’s important and live in the moment? It will be a joyful WIP (IT WILL. JOY WILL BE HAD.)

HEAD is a debut solo show from award-winning theatre maker and clown Maya Hallpike, creator of Experiment Human (OFFIE winner 2024, Best Comedy - Everything Theatre Awards 2023, VAULT Innovation Award nominee 2023, Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence 2022).

Maya graduated from the European Theatre Arts course at Rose Bruford College in 2022. Since then, she has been facilitating theatre work for young people (Creation Theatre, Jigsaw Arts) as well as exploring her performance practice in the form of clowning, stand-up comedy, songwriting and theatre-making.
