Judgment Day: 2024. Humanity is destroyed by Skynet, an AI weapons system which becomes self-aware and launches a nuclear apocalypse which kills three billion people.
Tuesday: 2042. A Terminator rebuilt with Windows 95 must return to the past on a quest for humanity. Will she succeed?
I’ll Be Back: A Cybernetic Cyberquest is the story of an embittered Cyberdyne Systems scientist (UK branch) who, when captured by the human Resistance, is forced to become a Windows 95 Terminator. This troubled and malfunctioning killing machine is sent back to a world before Judgment Day to discover what it means to be human.
Powered by dial-up internet and Encarta, featuring 90s pop hits and amateur contemporary dance (which some viewers may find offensive), I'll Be Back is an adventure for all to enjoy, but is also a treat for fans of the proper Terminator films (1 and 2).
A new, work-in-progress comedy written and performed by Justine Malone (Watson & Malone, Nova Theatre).
