Deluge

  • Old Fire Station 40 George Street Oxford, England, OX1 2AQ United Kingdom (map)

Thur 12th, 8pm
Old Fire Station Theatre | £10

In the wake of a relationship, a woman attempts to contain the overflow of her thoughts. But something's blocked, there are leaks to fix in her house, the holes just keep getting bigger and the water is rising.

A captivating and comedic piece of magical realism about the things we lose and how we grieve them, Deluge blends true stories with fiction, movement, text, comedy and live music.

Based on interviews with people wondering: 'who am I in the wake of a loss?', the show blurs imagination with reality by invoking a surreal, tender and humorous dreamscape that touches simultaneously on the intensely personal and the universal aspects of loss and how we live with it.
