Eight poets battle it out with blade-sharp wit and killer lines to be crowned Offbeat Slam Champion. Who will win? The audience decides.

Welcome to the inaugural Offbeat Open Poetry Slam, where eight poets have three minutes on the mic to wow the audience with their blade sharp wit and killer lines. Five randomly selected judges will score the poets on their power of their words and performance, and declare who is the slam-iest of them all!

Fast-paced, passionate, lyrical, often political and satirical, this is poetic jousting at its best. Come on down, it’s about to get judgy…

Poets, to secure a slot in the slam, email tina@tinasederholm.com, or take a chance by turning up on the night.

Hosted by Oxford spoken word legend, Edinburgh Fringe veteran and winner of more than 20 slams, Tina Sederholm.
